The User’s Review: SMC Pentax-FA 1:3.5-5.6 28-80mm Zoom Lens

As one of the second generation of AF lenses and made in Taiwan, this Pentax lens has a non-rotating front piece, a aperture ring with a A-lock, macro between 0.5 - 1 m and two inferred marks for the zoom at 28 and 80mm. The front piece accepts 58 mm filters. I also saw two color versions: all black and silver/black. This FA lens simply marks its distance scale on its focus ring, and does not have a distance window as in the previous F lens.
